The SSC CGL 2024 exam is expected to take place in July-August 2024. However, no official notification has been made by SSC.
The salary of SSC CGL varies by grade. The salary for level 4 ranges from INR 25,550 to INR 81,100. Profiles for this salary grade include tax assistants, deputy inspectors, and senior department clerks. The salary range for level 5 is INR 29,200 to 92,300. Salary for band 6, including Deputy Inspector (NIA), Department Accountant, Statistical Investigator II, and Assistant/Supervisor is INR 35400-112400. The salary range for Year 7 is INR 44,900-142,400, whereas the salary range for Year 8 is INR 47,600-151,100.
Every position has different qualification requirement but the minimum requirement is that a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from any university.

SSC CGL is one of the most competitive exam in the country. The syllabus us vast and lakhs of students compete to achieve their result. The difficulty level of exam is expected to be moderate to difficult.
Candidates who complete 12th place can sit for various state exams such as RRB ALP, SSC CHSL, SSC MTS, SSC Shorthand, SSC GD, Indian Coast Guard, etc. However, do not apply for the SSC CGL.
The SSC CGL age limit for the various positions in the 2021 exam is a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 32. In addition, there are some age relaxation standards for the candidate retention circle.
There is no fixed number of attempts for SSC CGL exam. The candidate must check the eligibility criteria such as qualification, age limit and nationality before appearing for the exam.
